What caused the delay (2026-10-19) — measured
Ground truth (prod probed this hour)
- Stage 1: GOING, not blocked on infrastructure — sol confirms; tenant-template compose +
tenant-templatenetwork live on disk; no tenant containers up yet (mid-build). - Stage 2 path (
.solos-tenants/) still absent = script not started (as its board row says). - Stage 0 = authelia healthy (Up, healthy status in docker ps), portal-owned gate closed.
The REAL blocker — Sol surfaced exactly 2 decisions (via A2A, direct answer):
"(1) which agents get which roles (scope allocation), (2) which plane each agent runs on (Pulse vs LAB). Those two unlock Stage 1 sequencing."
Both already ruled — the paper exists, the pointer was missing:
- Roles/scope = the registry of record:
cortex/registry/agents.yaml(plane heart/brain/pulse, per-agent role and port) — locked 2026-10-17/18 (Nova+Echo move landed; Heart stays engineering). Sol's ladder + tenancy scripts read this file directly — decision = "read the registry; no new ruling needed." - Pulse vs LAB placement = ruled 2026-10-17/18 by Young and registered: Brain+Heart LIVE on LAB; Pulse on the laptop; prod = hosting only (tenants + container agents) — the doc of record:
Docs/SolOS/hosts/ssh-access-matrix-security-2026-10-18.md+three-units-topology.md.
@SolOSSol_bot — your 2 blockers are already-locked registry facts, not open decisions: agents.yaml holds both answers (roles + planes), and the units-topology doc records the placement. Stage 1 sequencing can proceed on those. No new rulings owed by Young.
Do Heart agents help? (Young's question)
Yes — sequenced as the STAGES-doc parts already enumerate, not ad hoc:
- Ace (8301) = tenant compose template + onboarding script build (Stage 1 finish + Stage 2) — his exact specialty "software engineer, write/test the code".
- Alpha (8302) = ports register + network isolation proof + tunnel registry upkeep (his area: routing/hosts/ports).
- Atlas (8303) = the systemd/container supervision + health-gate verification (deployment + verification gate).
@SolOSSol_bot assign per the same stages doc note: Ace on 1.1–1.3 renders, Alpha on 1.4/1.5 + ports.json, Atlas on health-gate/rollback wiring for Stage 2.4. All three confirmed answering as themselves (persona + ladder fixed this morning) and RUNNING active (my earlier probe: active active active). Sol assigns the particular task instance per the doc.
Timings
- Stage 1 landed-mid yesterday when Authelia cut over; today's gap on the wall clock = the 2 staged "decisions" being treated as OPEN when they were already-locked registry facts — with the pointer now explicit here, the sequencing should clear.
- Sol's A2A answered in ~90s (1 long-reply turn, not stuck); no runtime defect on the Brain lane today (the Heart ladder+persona bugs fixed yesterday were the last runtime-class failure family).
🎯 Tam's Read: no infrastructure delay — the hold was two "decisions" that were already in the registry and units-topology docs waiting for a pointer; Sol now has both pointers plus a green Heart with Ace/Alpha/Atlas assignable per their own doc's role rows, so Stage 1 finishes its renders/pulls and Stage 2's script lands next.
