Nuxt — product research
Young, 2026-10-18: add Nuxt to the products research under Projects/vhost, with templates and features.
1. What Nuxt is
Nuxt 4 (v4.6.2 latest) — the full-stack Vue framework. File-based routing, auto-imports, SSR/SSG/ISR, server routes, middleware. MIT licence. Free.
We already run it: docs-site uses nuxt: ^4.4.8 + docus: latest.

3. Nuxt UI (v4) — the component library
Nuxt UI v4 unified Nuxt UI and Nuxt UI Pro into one free, MIT-licensed library of 125+ production-ready components + 12 templates + Figma kit.
Previously paid ($249/$499/$999). Now free. This is the single biggest unlock for our admin portal — the Dashboard template, SaaS template, Landing template, and Chat template are all free.

Nuxt is our frontend layer. Medusa is our commerce engine. EVE is our AI. Nuxt renders all of them.

Adding Nuxt UI Dashboard is zero new dependency — @nuxt/ui is already in
docs-site/node_modules (transitive via Docus). We just need to add it to
package.json and use the Dashboard template.

Our frontend licence profile: entirely free, entirely MIT. No paid component, no subscription, no per-seat fee. The only paid Nuxt templates are third-party (Materio, Spike, Sokol, Charts) — we don't need them.
